Patient education for health equity

Anatomii Studio is a patient education studio specializing in medical illustration and health animation, based in Vancouver, Canada. We prioritize understanding your science and your community, so we can support your mission.

Mission

We envision a world where everyone has a fair chance to be healthy. But health equity requires more than good intentions.

We create patient education that's accessible, scientifically accurate, and informed by patient perspectives. Our work transforms health information from a barrier into a bridge.

We design for 4 outcomes that make health equity possible:

1. Health literacy

We design for comprehension, so patients can understand and use information to make informed decisions.

2. Patient activation

We design to build knowledge, confidence, and motivation, so patients feel capable of managing their health.

3. Patient engagement

We design to reduce barriers, so patients are supported to seek, communicate and partner with their care providers.

4. Health action

We design for behaviour change, so patients take action to improve their health.
